UK police say they have arrested a British man for allegedly conspiring to kill his wife on their honeymoon in Sourth Africa. Scotland Yard said Wednesday that 30-year-old Shrien Dewani was arrested overnight on behalf of South African authorities after turning himself in to police. His Swedish wife, Anni Dewani, died in an apparent carjacking last month.
A South African man convicted in her murder said Tuesday that her husband paid to have her killed. Shrien Dewani, who has denied any involvement in his wife's death, will appear at a London court later Wednesday. South African authorities say they have started the extradition process, but that it is in its very early stages. (AP)
