MK El-Sana calls petition rabbis "scum", taken out of Knesset
Knesset Member Talab El-Sana (United Arab List-Ta'al) was removed from the Knesset plenum by Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin, after he called the rabbis who signed a petition against selling or renting out land to Arabs "the scum of the human race" and said that they were "racists not rabbis".
El-Sana turned to Interior Minister Eli Yishai who was at the podium and asked him why he wasn't condemning the statements. Yishai answered: "In the Palestinian Authority those who sell lands to Jews are executed". El-Sana responded: "we live in Israel and the law forbids incitement to racism". (Roni Sofer)
