Court rules to expel Muhamad Abu Tir
Jerusalem's Magistrates Court ruled to expel Hamas official Muhamad Abu Tir from Israel and imposed a suspended prison sentence of four months if he returns to Israel. Abu Tir admitted to entering Israel illegally as part of his plea bargain.
Hamas condemned the decision. Hamas official Khaled Abu Arfa said that the decision was meant to silence the voice of Freedom which opposes occupation in Jerusalem. (Yair Altman and Ali Waked)
