State comptroller: Yishai responsible for firefighting failure
State Comptroller Micha Lindenstruass has pointed a finger at Interior Minister Eli Yishai as the person responsible for the situation of the firefighting system.
In a scathing report, the comptroller wrote, "I thought it right to warn the Israeli government and the prime minister about this ongoing failure which is first and foremost the responsibility of the Interior Ministry and the minister heading it." (Yaron Druckman)
