Yishai: If I weren't haredi you would say I predicted future

Interior Minister Eli Yishai convened a press conference in response to a scathing state comptroller report which blamed him for the situation of the firefighting services.

"If I weren't haredi, people would say I predicted the future. I can voice my opinion, struggle, battle, but eventually the Treasury objects, the government doesn't approve it and the minister is responsible." He added that he was being lynched by the media. (Ronen Medzini)
