Agriculture Ministry closes Carmel area for fear of trees falling
The Agriculture Ministry instructed that areas of the Carmel range which saw the wildfires last week be closed to visitors until pruning and rehabilitation work on trees is completed. The order was issued due to fears of trees collapsing and landslides.
The Ministry also said that the expected stormy weather this weekend may bring floods because the land is exposed and lacking vegetation. (Ynet)
