Clinton to tell Saban Forum: Palestinian appeal to UN unacceptable
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to tell the Saban Forum Friday that the US continues to be committed to a two-state solution and to spur the talks, but it is up to the sides to resolve tensions.
Clinton is also expected to say that the only solution will come from direct talks, and that the Palestinians' plan to appeal to the UN for a unilateral declaration of statehood is unacceptable. (Yitzhak Benhorin and Reuters)
