Carmel forest fire death toll reaches 43

The worst forest fire in Israel's history has claimed the lives of 43 people. Jalal Bisan, 29, died Saturday, after being hospitalized in critical condition for the past nine days.

Bisan was one of the 37 Prison Services cadets who were making their way to Damon Prison to evacuate the inmates when their bus caught on fire. He is survived by his wife and two children. (Ahiya Raved)
