NATO: Troops kill Taliban operative in Afghanistan
NATO says international and Afghan forces have killed a Taliban leader and another insurgent in an overnight raid in eastern Afghanistan.
The military coalition says in a statement issued Sunday that the Taliban operative was involved in weapons smuggling and attacks in eastern Wardak province. It identified him only by his first name, Fedahi. (AP)
