Interior Ministry: Additional NIS 5M for Carmel fire reconstruction
The Interior Ministry on sunday has allocated NIS 2 million ($553,556) to Tirat Carmel and NIS 3 million ($830,334) to Usfiya for fire damages reconstruction. The Interior Ministry representative in charge of the northern region, Yosef Mishlev, at the Knesset's State Control Committee meeting noted that 190 out of the 240 residents that are unable to return to their homes, have received NIS 2,500 ($690) per person for basic immediate needs.
Last week, over NIS 4 million ($1,107,113) were transferred to the Hof Carmel regional council for restoration and reconstruction. (Ahiya Raved)
