Sheikh Salah released from prison after 5 months

Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement's northern faction, has been released from the Ayalon Prison in Ramla after five months. He was convicted in November of attacking a policeman and spitting on him.
Some 150 members of the Islamic Movement waiting for him at the entrance to the prison chanted, "Sheikh Salah is the sheikh of al-Aqsa." (Hassan Shaalan)
