Mubarak: Egypt election results largely lawful
President Hosni Mubarak has acknowledged irregularities in Egypt's recent elections but maintains that the vote's results are largely lawful. In a televised speech Sunday, Mubarak blamed "violations" on candidates and their supporters.
He urged Egyptians to look forward to the next parliament to advance democracy in the Arab world's most populous nation. (AP)
