Yishai: Fire should be investigated, lessons should be learned

Interior Minister Eli Yishai said during a Knesset hearing on the Carmel forest fire that "the event should be investigated and lessons should be learned."
Yishai called to make a distinction between the need for reform in the Fire and Rescue Services and urgent measures that need to be implemented in the fire extinguishing apparatus. "The money coming from the Interior Ministry and Finance Ministry is not enough, because hundreds of millions of shekels are missing." (Roni Sofer)
