Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed efforts to renew negotiations with the Palestinians and said that his goal was to "reach a framework for a peace agreement which would facilitate peace with security and of course, prosperity."
"I also hope that our Palestinian neighbors take part in the process in order to achieve our goal within the next few months", Netanyahu added at the beginning of his meeting with US Middle East envoy George Mitchell. Ahead of the meeting, Mitchell said that "in direct talks the two sides decided to try and reach a framework agreement with waivers on all issues , that would pave the way for a final agreement. That is our goal today as well." (Attila Somfalvi)
