George Mitchell: US committed to Palestinian state
Washington's Mideast envoy says that despite setbacks, the Obama administration will not rest until a Palestinian state is established alongside Israel.
Envoy George Mitchell made the pledge after meeting Tuesday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Mitchell says that "we are determined to persevere in our efforts until we reach the successful conclusion," including Palestinian statehood. (AP)
