PM's office slams MK Hasson's allegations of political bribery

None

The Prime Minister's Office rejected MK Hasson's claims, according to which the prime minister offered MK Uri Ariel a political bribe in return for his refusal to establish a national commission of inquiry into the Carmel forest fire.

"In Netanyahu's phone conversation with MK Ariel, the prime minister stressed that forming a commission will only delay the implementation of conclusions. As opposed to what MK Hasson claimed, Netanyahu did not offer any monetary reward or any other benefit, and was not asked to do so either," the statement read. (Attila Somfalvi)
