Rehabilitation of trees that survived the Carmel forest fire and cutting down burnt trunks will cost an estimated NIS 30 million (about $8.3 million), the Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, thousands of trees were partially damaged by the blaze and need to undergo a lengthily and professional rehabilitation. (Bili Frankel)
