UN chief warns of Ivory Coast civil war

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is worried that the politically charged environment in Ivory Coast could spark a new civil war.
UN spokesman Martin Nesirky said in a statement Wednesday that Ban is "deeply concerned" that the electoral stalemate in the west African nation could lead to widespread violence and have unpredictable consequences, including another civil war. (AP)
