UN eyeing independent Haiti cholera probe

The United Nations' peacekeeping chief says the UN is talking with the World Health Organization and other groups about creating an independent scientific panel to look into the cholera outbreak in Haiti.
Alain Le Roy, head of UN peacekeeping, told reporters on Wednesday that the panel will be fully independent and will grant complete access to all UN premises and personnel. (AP)
