Hamas: Arab League meeting meant to cover for Abbas

Senior Hamas figure Mahmoud al-Zahar said the Arab League meeting in Cairo is meant to "cover up (Palestinian President Mahmoud) Abbas' failures."
He said the meeting will "hurt our interests because it will lead to more settlement construction, the demolition of homes in east Jerusalem, sanctions and aggressive conduct toward Gaza," he said. (AFP)
