US House opposes unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood
The US House of Representatives has approved a proposal rejecting any unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood.
According to the unanimously approved resolution, the US will not recognize a Palestinian state if it is declared without Israel's approval. It will also veto any such resolution if it is proposed in the UN Security Council. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
