S. Korea to stage firing drills from border island

South Korea says it will conduct live-fire military drills from a front-line island shelled by a North Korean artillery barrage last month.
A Joint Chiefs of Staff official says the military will stage a day of drills from Yeonpyeong Island near the tense Korean sea border some time between Saturday and Tuesday. (AP)
