Israel accepted to CERN

Israel was accepted to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) on Thursday. CERN is responsible, among other things, for the particle accelerator initiative in Geneva. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman welcomed the move that "places israel at the forefront of global science". (Ronen Medzini)
