Chief Rabbi establishes IDF conversions examination committee

Sephardic Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar Thursday established a new committee to examine the IDF conversions issue. The committee will examine whether the rabbinate can recognize the IDF conversions system, making legislation unnecessary.
