Minority Affairs minister to oppose yeshiva student proposal

Minister for Minority Affairs Avishay Braverman said he intends to vote against the yeshiva students' allowance restriction plan and the plan to double the amount of Yeshiva students recruited to the IDF and civil service.
"I will object the proposal which will be presented for government approval on Sunday, because it is lip service and it will not result in an increase in recruitment or in the integration of haredim in the workforce. Unfortunately, the prime minister chose political compromise over a brave decision, which could reduce the inequality of the burden," said Braverman. (Attila Somfalvi)
