The government approved the haredi yeshiva student allowance plan during a meeting on Sunday. According to the plan their allowance will be limited for five years only.
Shas ministers abstained from the vote while 14 ministered voted for the agreement, including Yisrael Beiteinu ministers, 8 voted against the plan, including the Labor ministers. (Ronen Medzini)
