Turkey reprimands Israeli ambassador over maritime agreement with Cyprus
Diplomatic sources in Turkey stated that the Foreign Ministry summoned Israel's Ambassador to Ankara, Gabby Levy, and expressed discontent over an exclusive economic zone set in an agreement between Israel and Cyprus on Friday, according to which both states would divide their maritime borderline in order to search for oil and gas.
According to a Turkish report, Ankara "opposed the agreement until a just solution is found to the conflict in Cyprus." (Roee Nahmias)
