Three men are accused of "espionage and endangering the interests of Egypt" and "carrying out activities which could lead to a breakdown in relations" with Syria and Lebanon," a judicial source said Monday.
Egyptian Tarek Abdel Razzak, 37, who owns an import-export company, is accused of having worked together with two Israelis, he is a fugitive from the law, and the Israelis are being tried in absentia. An arrest warrant has been issued against the three. (AFP)
