Braverman appeals against comptroller's fire probe

Minister Avishay Braverman filed an appeal with the government secretariat against the State Control Committee's decision to task Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss with investigating the Carmel fire disaster.
He called the decision a "blatant evasion from the clear need to establish a state inquiry commission," adding that "only an inquiry commission can make sure the investigation's conclusions are implemented." (Attila Somfalvi)
