Report: Several people reported killed in Iran earthquake
An unknown number of people have been killed in remote mountain villages in southeastern Iran hit by an earthquake of 6.5 magnitude on Monday, state television quoted an official as saying.
"In some villages in the mountains several people have been killed reportedly ... but we have no specific figures yet," said a local official in Kerman province, where the quake happened. "Access to these villages is very difficult." (Reuters)
