The Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum has completed a collection of the names of 4 million Shoah victims – two-third of the total number of victims.
Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev said that 1.5 million names were added in the past decade, increasing the collection by 60%. "The Germans sought not only to destroy the Jews, but also to erase their memory. One of our main missions is to give each victim a face and a name." (Ynet)
