Britain: No reference to missing soldiers in withheld information

Britian has refuted claims that the British Foreign Office isn't giving Israel information it has on the whereabouts of the Sultan Yacoub battle MIAs - Zacharia Baumel, Yehuda Katz, and Zvi Feldman. "We have the utmost sympathies for the families of the MIAs and understand their pain and desire to find out what happened to their loved one. The information withheld by the FCO in this instance did not contain any reference to the missing men," a Foreign Office statement said.

The London-based Jewish Chronicle recently reported that Britain refused to publish a document containing information on the three missing soldiers. (Roee Nahmias)
