Knesset approves bill banning import of animal tested cosmetics

Knesset approves bill submitted by MK Eitan Cabel which will prohibit the import of cosmetic products that were tested on animals.
MK Cabel said "the legislation was approved due to the current Knesset's higher level of awareness to animal rights." (Roni Sofer and Erez Erlichman)
