Eli Yishai: In the end, I'm always to blame

Interior Minister Eli Yishai (Shas) protested the criticism leveled at him concerning the failures within the firefighting services, claiming, "In the end I'm always the one to blame."
According to Yishai, the state comptroller's report refers to a period during which Yishai was a student at school, but was released "on his watch" which is why the criticism is directed at him. Yishai also noted he was not trying to evade responsibility, and called for the recommendations of the investigation to be implemented. (Kobi Nahshoni)
