UN special envoy on Gaza clashes: Both sides strive for calm

Robert Serry, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East, responded to the rising tension the Gaza Strip border by expressing the UN's concern for the safety of both sides.
Serry wrote in a published statement that the UN recognizes that both sides want the situation to calm down, and that he will make efforts to put an end to the violent clashes. (Ynet)
