Hundreds protest in Silwan against removal of struggle leader from Jerusalem

A few hundred activists from Sheikh Jarrah solidarity movements and residents of Silwan are marching in protest of a restraining order issued against Adnan Gheith, one of the organizers of the struggle against the razing of houses at the east Jerusalem al-Bustan neighborhood.

On Thursday, the IDF ordered to remove Gheith from Jerusalem for a period of four months. Gheith said he will appeal the decision. A ruling on the matter will be issued in two weeks. (Yair Altman)
