Abbas: No Israeli presence in future state

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Friday that there would be no Israeli presence in any future Palestinian state and rejected the possibility that IDF troops would be positioned along its borders.

"We are prepared to achieve peace based on international resolutions, the Road Map and the 1967 borders, but when a Palestinian state is established it will be empty of any Israeli presence," he said. (Roee Nahmias)
