Egyptians officials to meet Israel's national security advisor

The Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Uzi Arad is expected to meet on Sunday with Egyptian officials in Cairo, including Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman. According to the reports made by an official Egyptian source in and published in Al-Hayat newspaper in London, Arad is expected to discuss Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Egypt next month.

 

The source also mentioned their intention to discuss the peace process and the need to set it in motion, as well as to inform the Israelis about Egypt's discontent with their inability to uphold the demands of the process, first and foremost the settlement freeze. (Roee Nahmias)
