Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen addressed intentions to evict Beit Yonatan and made it clear that "public officials, leaders and religious leaders must show responsibility and attempt to influence the public they represent so that they will choose restraint and legitimate and lawful protests.
"Israel's police force will not allow the public, or police officers to be harmed, nor will it allow civil disturbances and it will work to implement the rule of law," the commissioner stressed. "The path of dialogue and cooperation must be followed, as well as legal rulings and trying to avoid the illegal protest which is forming. (Yair Altman)
