The Ministerial Committee for Legislation has approved a law proposal that prohibits celebrities from participation in marketing campaigns for alcoholic beverages. As per the proposal, which was initiated by MK Danny Danon (Likud), manufacturers of alcoholic beverages will also be required to print warnings on the products' labels, similarly to the warnings printed by cigarette companies.
