Jerusalem Municipality: Beit Yehonatan will not be sealed

The Jerusalem Municipality announced that it will not seal Beit Yehonatan, a Jewish residential building in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan. The decision was made after the Ateret Cohanim foundation withdrew its demand to evict the Arab residents from the Abu Nab building, which previously served as a synagogue.

Earlier Sunday Silwan residents reportedly threw stones at Beit Yehonatan and another Jewish residence, Beit Dvash. One alleged stone thrower was arrested. (Ronen Medzini)
