Blast in south Afghan city of Kandahar kills 3
A car bomb exploded in the heart of the southern city of Kandahar Monday, killing at least three people and wounding more than a dozen, an Afghan policeman who witnessed the attack said.
The car exploded near a police compound and a branch of Kabul Bank in the crowded center of the city, said Noor Mohammad, who was guarding the bank. (AP)
