AG won't launch criminal investigation into Carmel fire
Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein decided not to launch a criminal investigation against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ministers Eli Yishai, Yuval Steinitz and Ehud Barak, following the fatal Carmel forest fire.
However, Weinstein noted that the state comptroller will examine the circumstances of the fire, and if his examination reveals a suspicion of felony, it will be handed over to the General Attorney in accordance with the law. (Aviad Glickman)
