The Tel Aviv Magistrate's' Court has sentenced left-wing activist Yonatan Pollack to three months in prison after he was convicted of an illegal gathering during a Tel Aviv protest against the Gaza blockade about two weeks ago.
Pollak was also ordered to pay a fine of NIS 1,500 ($418). Judge Itzhak Yitzhak ruled that Pollak acted out of an internal faith expressed in the remarks he made to the court. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
