Yisrael Beitenu responds: IDF conversion law will be rapidly passed
Yisrael Beitenu declined to comment on MK Eli Yishai's claims that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had promised the coalition would vote against the IDF conversion law. Sources in Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's party said the discussion around the issue did not concern them at present, adding that the law would be passed "very quickly."
Yisrael Beitenu has declared its firm intention to pass the law. The party is expected to transfer the issue to the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee in order to move the process forward. (Roni Sofer)
