Police: Train driver learned of fire from another train's driver

The police investigation found that the driver of the train that caught fire did not notice the flames initially, and was informed of the occurrence when by a driver of a train that passed by it, northbound.

A police spokesperson noted that no criminal activity was suspected in the case. It appears that the fire was caused by a technical malfunction. (Raanan Ben Zur)
