Report: Palestinians detain journalist reporting on Fatah tensions

Palestinian security forces detained a correspondent who issued a report regarding Fatah tensions, the Guardian reported Wednesday.

George Canavati of Radio Bethlehem was kept in Palestinian security chambers last month without being given an explanation for his incarceration. Prior to his arrest he issued a report stating that Fatah senior official Mohammed Dahlan undermined Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. (Ynet)
