NATO and Afghan police say insurgents have fired two rockets into the main US base in Afghanistan.
Master Sgt. Jason Haag, a spokesman for NATO in Kabul, says that Bagram Air Field received "two rounds of indirect fire" early Thursday morning. He did not have additional details. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said the insurgents shot two rockets into the base, which sits about an hour's drive northeast of Kabul. (AP)
