Aviva Shalit, the mother of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, said the idea that the government of Israel is doing everything for her son is "void of meaning".
At a conference held by the Mothers for Gilad organization Aviva said, "Don't tell me about past achievements, like the tape that made its way here 16 months ago. The government of Israel has had enough time from June of 2006 to get Gilad back. 1650 days in captivity are more than enough." (Ahiya Raved)
