Abbas calls for alternative to negotiations
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas called for an international alternative to the peace process, which he said has turned into a means for managing the conflict rather than resolving it.
In a televised speech, Abbas added that ironically the United States declares that it objects to Israel's settlement activity, while not taking any action against Israel's settlement plans. (AFP)
